What happens when you buy something on Breadwave.

For buyersLast updated 30 September 2026

1. Who you’re buying from

Store purchases are sold by the creator whose store it is. Your payment is taken by the creator’s own Stripe or Bachs account, or processed by Breadwave for the creator. Marketplace purchases are different: Breadwave buys the product from its creator at the moment you buy and sells it to you, so Breadwave is the seller of records. Your receipt says who sold it to you.

2. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when you get your order confirmation email. You don’t need an account: your purchases are linked to your email and you open your library with a link we send you.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency. Store prices are charged as shown. On marketplace purchases, any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies is shown at checkout. You can pay by the methods available in your country: card, bank transfer or USSD in Nigeria; card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in Canada, the US and elsewhere. You confirm that the payment details you use are yours or that you are allowed to use them. Payments are checked by the payment provider and by Breadwave to prevent fraud. We may cancel orders caused by pricing or typing errors.

4. What you get

You get a personal licence to use what you bought. The creator (or their licensors) keeps all rights in it. Don’t resell, share or copy it unless the creator allows it. Some products are read or watched online only.

5. Refunds and subscriptions

Refunds follow the creator’s refund policy shown on the product page, and our Refund policy. You can cancel a subscription any time; that stops future payments but doesn’t refund past ones.

6. Disputes with your bank

Please ask the creator or us for a refund before disputing a payment with your bank. If you open a dispute, we’ll decline a refund request for the same payment while the bank decides.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Products are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our liability will not exceed what you paid for the product. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, and disputes go to the courts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
